I have two totally unrelated questions. First, when I was checking my rear tire for wear, I noticed that the left side tread indicators are wearing slightly faster than the right side. The front tire seems to be wearing evenly. Any suggestions as to what might be causing this to occur?
Secondly, a non-Savage related question. I have the opportunity to purchase a 1975 Honda cb400f with 5,000 miles for $300. It's in very good condition cosmetically (one small dent in chrome front fender). The problems are: Hasn't run in ten years (carbs need cleaning), front caliper is frozen, and master cylinder leaks. Sites on the internet indicate this is a classic bike with "the most beautiful stock header in history." The bike is beautiful (Honda RED!), but I wanted to get the opinions of people on this site. Has anyone had any experience with this bike? Any problem areas I should be aware of? I know this isn't a Savage, but then again, what is!?
